ADHD Assessment

What's included in an adult ADHD assessment?

We strive to make the assessment journey as clear, collaborative and supportive as possible.

Step 1: Pre-Assessment Screening

Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive screening questionnaires to complete. We’ll also ask someone who knows you well (e.g. a partner, close friend, or family member) to complete a brief questionnaire — this provides helpful additional insight into your experiences.

Step 2: Pre-Assessment Consultation
A 60-minute psychological assessment is completed to help us understand your experiences and how they’ve affected you over time. This session informs us whether a full ADHD assessment is appropriate, or whether another route might better suit your needs.

Step 3: Diagnostic Interview
We use the DIVA 5.0 - a gold-standard, structured clinical interview - to explore how ADHD symptoms affect different areas of life (e.g. work, education, relationships) both now and in the past. This session lasts roughly between 90-120 minutes.

Step 4: Feedback Session
Following the assessment, a 60-minute feedback session will be held to explore the findings, discuss your diagnosis (if given), and next steps.

Step 5: Report & Recommendations

Following the feedback session, you’ll receive a summary letter outlining the key results and key recommendations. A detailed diagnostic report will follow within 4–8 weeks, including recommendations for work, daily life or further support.

Post-Diagnostic Support
We understand that a diagnosis is just the beginning. We offer post-diagnostic support to help individuals navigate life with ADHD and build strategies for success.
